Serengeti Itinerary
Serengeti National Park is one of the wonders of Africa. This package is designed to get you through the most memorable wildlife viewing experience in this marvelous wilderness.
Day 1: Airport Pick Up
You will be picked from the airport and driven to Serengeti which is about 335km (208 miles) from Arusha, stretching north to Kenya and bordering Lake Victoria to the west. You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch before going for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Full day wildlife Game Drive
After breakfast with packed lunch, you will go for a full day game drive on your 3 days Serengeti safari. You will spot various animals, more than 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing.
Yet even when the wildebeest migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala, Grant’s gazelle, leopards, cheetahs, three African jackal, spotted hyena and a host of more elusive small predators, ranging from the insectivorous aardwolf to the beautiful serval cat.
There are also 500-plus bird species, ranging from the out-sized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland, to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills. Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Day 3: Departure
After breakfast, you will go for another game drive through the exciting scenery of Serengeti national with chances of seeing more wildlife including those you missed out on the previous full day drive. You will then go back to the lodge for lunch and later transfer back to Arusha marking the end of your 3 days Serengeti safari in Tanzania. Drop-off at your lodge in Arusha or at the airport for your onward flight.
