Day 1: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have breakfast and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Accessing the park from Kampala is either on tarmac through Mbarara (420 kms) or Fort Portal via Kasese (410kms). The park is 5-6 hours from Kampala on surface road via Mbarara. On arrival you will go for an afternoon game drive. Tracking is the only way that will enable you see all the wildlife in its nature setting for example buffalo, elephants and other animals that dwell in the grassland thickets of the Northern Kazinga close to Mweya. The most accessible spot for lions is in the eastern part of Kasenyi plains and the Kasese road where they quarry on the big inhabitants of Uganda Kobs. The most favorable time for game drives is during morning and late afternoon hours. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise
You will have a morning game drive and in the afternoon go for a launch cruise along the kazinga channel where you may spot various water birds and animals. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Kampala After breakfast you will drive back to Kampala, make a stopover at the equator and then proceed arriving in the afternoon.
