Attractions In Mount Elgon National Park : Mount Elgon National park is located in the Eastern region in Uganda in Mbale district and this national park is administered between two countries Uganda and Kenya whereby it is recorded that it was first gazetted as a game reserve in 1968 and Uganda gazetted it as a game reserve in 1992. Later it was established as a national park in 1968, which makes it to be among the oldest national parks in the country covering a total surface area of about 4,000 square kilometers.

The sipi falls are located a few meters away from Mount Elgon National park and for tourists can take a drive of less than an hour from the park to be able to access the falls. Mount Elgon peaks and the Caldera.
Tourists exploring in Mount Elgon national park can opt to hike to the mountain peaks such as; Wagagi which is considered as the tallest peak of the mountain which stands at an elevated area of about 4,321 meters, Koitobos at 4,222 meters, then Sudek standing at 4,303 meters and lastly, Mubiyi which stands at an elevated area of 4,210 meters.
