The dry season is good for chimpanzee trekking in that it’s the period when there is less rainfall, therefore, the chimpanzee trekking trails in Kibale national park, Kalinzu Forest, Kyambura Gorge, and Budongo Forest Reserve will be passable compared to the rainy season in the months of March to May and October to November when there is heavy rainfall which makes trekking trails in the jungle muddy and slippery. However, the rainy season is the best time for bird watching is the forests in that there will be plenty of food and fruits for the birds which makes it the best birding time.
