Murchison falls national park is famously known as the largest national park in Uganda which covers a total surface area of about 3900 square kilometers and it is located in Masindi district. Murchison falls national park is considered to be among the top visited parks because it has wildlife creatures those tourists can spot while on their adventurous safari. Bwindi impenetrable national park is located in the Southwestern region of Uganda in Kanungu district covering a total surface area of about 331 square kilometers. This national park is ranked among the top visited national parks in the country because it the best destination where tourists can go for a gorilla trekking safaris due to the fact that has the largest number of the Mountain gorilla species in the whole world hence attracting many people to visit the park. therefore, Bwindi Impenetrable national park is a home to over 800 endangered mountain gorilla species, 350 bird species, 120 mammal species like; hippos, antelopes, buffaloes among others and also 400 plant species.
