Marafika Safari Lodge is situated overlooking Lake George in the Queen Elizabeth National Park in the western Uganda region, estimating 5 to 6 hours’ drive and travel by flight from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi airstrip within 1:10 hours to land to mweya airstrip. However, the lodge has a beautiful location and has been designed and handcrafted using local materials.
The park boasts with the equator and is one of Uganda’s most visited tourist destinations, it extends from Lake Edward in the southwest to Lake George in the northeast with the Kazinga channel connecting the two lakes. Queen Elizabeth National Park is also renowned as the second largest Uganda game park approximately 1,978 square kilometers and was named after Queen Elizabeth 11. It is home to famous wildlife animals such as lions, leopards, hippos, chimpanzees, tree-climbing lions, and hoven for birds over 600 bird species among others. The park is also famous for its salt lakes that fill volcanic craters where the local people have been extracting salt for years.

Game Drive Experience
