Places to visit in Entebbe : Entebbe is located on the shores of Lake Victoria and there are many places to visit during tours in Uganda and they include the following;
- Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC)
Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC) is among the popular places visited in Entebbe and it is also referred to as the Entebbe zoo.
At the Uganda Wildlife Education Center, there are various wildlife species which can be seen including predators like lions as well as primates such as chimpanzees and also different bird species as well as reptiles can be seen at the destination.
Tourists enjoy guided tours to the different habitats of the wildlife species found at the zoo and get to know more about the animals, how they are fed and taken care of and also their names and also watch them.

Some of the reptiles which can be seen at the Reptile village include snakes such as mambas, vipers, cobras, puff adders as well as chameleons, tortoises, lizards, crocodiles among others which are rescued from different parts of Uganda.
When visiting the Reptile village, tourists get to learn more about the reptiles and are informed by local guides about the different reptiles so they can distinguish poisonous and non poisonous ones.
- Entebbe craft village
When visiting Entebbe, tourists can also go to the craft village and see the different local crafts including clothing, paintings, sculptures, shoes, and ornaments, jewelry among other items.

- Entebbe botanical gardens
Entebbe botanical gardens are another place which tourists can visit during their trip in Entebbe and they are located on the shores of Lake Victoria.
There are various tree species and bird species which can be seen during tours around the Botanical gardens in Entebbe which are considered one of the best birding spots in Entebbe. Some monkeys can also be spotted among the trees in these botanical gardens.

- Mabamba swamp
The Mabamba swamps are also among the best places to visit while in Entebbe and they are located on Lake Victoria.
The Shoebill Stork is one of the attractions which can be seen when visiting the Mabamba swamps in Entebbe. Many other bird species are found around these papyrus swamps which is home to over 260 bird species.
During bird watching experiences around the Mabamba swamp, some of the bird species which can be seen include the Papyrus Gonolek, Long-Crested Eagle, Black-faced Rufous Warbler, Red-bellied Paradise Flycatcher, Yellow-backed Weaver, Great Blue Turaco, African Darter, Malachite Kingfisher among others.

- Lake Victoria
Lake Victoria is another attraction to visit in Entebbe and it is the largest lake found in Uganda which is also shared with Kenya and Tanzania.

Golf lovers visiting Entebbe can also visit Entebbe golf club and engage in a game of golf around the course which is one of the oldest in the country.
