Sipi Falls

The sipi falls is the longest waterfalls that is located in the Eastern part of Uganda in Kapchorwa district at the foothills of Mount Elgon and at the edge of Mount Elgon national park, lies three beautiful cascading waterfalls.

These Sipi falls were given their names after the Sep. This was a medicinal wild banana tree indigenous to northern Uganda. The Sipi falls are situated at an altitude of 1,775 m. They range from 65 to 100 meters high.

Wake up one day and have yourself a hike on these beautiful Sipi falls which will take you through the local communities to have a glance on the farm land, which is located over the rocky foothills. Here you will get a chance to see the three falls.

In case you would like to have a safari on the three falls, you are required to be physically fit. This is because the journey contains a round trip, which will take you over 3 hours to reach the falls. This seems quite challenging but enjoyable at the same time.

Aruu Falls

Aruu falls is located in the Northern part of Uganda in Gulu-Kitgum highway. This is the lesser and known waterfalls which are less visited by people. However, the Aruu falls is a nice place where one should have a stop over to experience an adventure experience in case you are heading to Kidepo valley national park and Murchison falls national park.

Along your way to Aruu falls which are just 4 and 1/2 kilometers from the Pader kitgum, you will have a stop over to have an en-route  picnic lunch adventure experience. Spend some good time here as you are having fun, swimming, rock climbing and a nature walk around the community.

NOTE; Be aware of the sliding   and slippery rocks so that you be careful and avoid accidents.

Aruu Falls

Itanda Falls

These are falls located in the east Africa’s adrenaline capital, Jinja, and they have a beautiful stunning site with very many ripples, which are compared to the Bujagali falls. More so, these falls are located on the falls, which were normally known as the Rippon falls that were considered the source of the Nile which is the longest river in Africa.

Kisiizi Fall

Kisiizi falls are situated in Rukungiri district. These falls lie between Queen Elizabeth national park and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. While on your safari, this is the best place where you should have a stop-over for a picnic adventure experience.

These falls get their waters from the Kyabamba river plunges, which is over off 27 meters high on the cliff into the gorge.
