What to expect on Mountain gorilla & tree climbing lion safari: A Mountain gorilla and tree climbing lion safari is one that allows one to go on both the primate experience of trekking the mountain gorillas and the unique experience of tracking tree climbing lions in their habitats.
The safari is both physical and relaxing involving psyche challenging trekking and a chilled drive in the wild to see the lions.
This safari is done in Bwindi National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda.
So, what should one expect on this Mountain gorilla and tree climbing lion safari?
You will definitely see the gorillas and the tree climbing lions, which is the ultimate price.

So that’s what you should expect on the safari, but how will the safari actually go?
Here is a rough breakdown of what you expect to find in your itinerary, especially if you are traveling by road and if your trip starts in Kampala.
You will be up early have breakfast and then start on your journey to South Western Uganda. This journey will take you about 9 to 10 hours and you will be in Bwindi in the evening.
You will check into your accommodation for your night’s rest.
Next, you will be up early for your gorilla trekking experience which will last about 6 to 8 hours before you head back to the start point for your trekking certificates.
You will rest for the day and then either have another at the park, doing other activities or you will transfer to the Ishasha sector in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
At Queen Elizabeth National Park, you will have the tree climbing lion experience and then have game drives to see other animals. You will even have a chance to take a game drive on the Kazinga channel.
After your experience, you will then leave the park for transfer to Kampala to end your mountain gorilla trekking and tree climbing lion’s safari.
