Murchison Falls National Park.

Murchison falls national park is the biggest national park in Uganda covering a total surface area of about 3,893 kilometers. It is located in Masindi district in the Northern part of Uganda. this park is also known to be among the oldest national park within the country because it was established as a national park in 1952 and one can access park through taking a drive from Kampala city to reach the park  and tis journey takes about 4 to 5 hours and travelers can use the northern fate or southern entrance gate to access the park or alternatively they can decide to book chattered  flights from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi airfield  and head to Chobe airstrip or Pakuba which are situated within the park.

Murchison falls national park is seen as the best destination for one to visit while on a wildlife safari in Uganda because it is a home to 76 mammal species which include; Buffaloes, Bushbucks, waterbucks, duikers, hippos, antelopes, elands, Giraffes, Nile crocodiles Uganda kobs, elephants, warthogs, hyenas, hartebeests, and Uganda kobs. Kidepo valley national park is situated in the Northern part of Uganda in Kaboong district whereby it is stands at an elevation of 900-1200 meters above the sea level covering a total surface area of 1442 square kilometers.

Kidepo valley national park harbours over 77 mammal such as; elephants, leopards, bush pigs, jackal, bush duiker, lions, buffaloes, with Numerous ostriches and cheetahs that are commonly seen while giraffes have the largest number within the park. Lake Mburo National Park.

Lake Mburo National Park is the smallest national park in Uganda, which covers a total surface area of 370 square kilometers, and it is located in the East of Mbarara city in the Western region of the country. This park can be accessed through driving from Kampala city to Mbarara and this journey takes a distance of 240 kilometers.
