Day 1: Welcome to Kigali Rwanda
Welcome to Kigali Rwanda: On day 1 of 10 days best of Congo safari tour, you will be welcomed by our company representative in Kigali Rwanda upon landing at Kigali international airport and will be transferred to you hotel in kigali where you will check in for late lunch since most of Rwanda flights land in the afternoon. Relax at your lodge awaiting dinner and overnight or else you may enjoy an evening Kigali city tour.

Day 2: Transfer to Kahuzi Beiga national park
Transfer to Kahuzi Beiga national park: After breakfast on day 2 of 10 days best of Congo safari tour, check out of the lodge and meet your safari driver to start a long drive from Kigali the capital city of Rwanda to Bukavu with an enroute lunch, stopover at the royal palace and genocide memorial sites. Upon arrival in Bukavu, you will proceed to check in your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Eastern Lowland Gorilla Trekking in Kahuzi Beiga national park
Eastern Lowland gorilla trekking: After breakfast on day 3 of 10 days best of Congo safari tour, meet your safari driver with packed lunch box, drinking water, some snacks and any other thing that you need for a gorilla trek and be transferred to the park headquarters for Kahuzi Beiga national park where you will be briefed and finally enter the forest to start the trek of Eastern lowland gorillas in their natural habitats. The trek takes between 2-7 hours with one hour of close vicinity with gorillas taking photographs and watching them as they feed, breast feed, fight, groom and many more. Return to your lodge later on for a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Guided Nature walks in Kahuzi Beiga national park
Guide nature walks: After breakfast on day 4 of 10 days best of Congo safari tour, you will be returned to the park for a guided nature walk via well designated walking trails that lead to different destinations. The most fascinating trail leads to the water fall and other trails that lead to coffee plantations among others. This nature walk is so rewarding with lots of attractions encountered while walking on foot such as fauna and flora species of the park, local communities and many others. After enjoying the walk, you will return to your lodge, fresh up and spend your evening at leisure.

Day 5: Transfer from Kahuzi Beiga national park to virunga national park
Transfer to virunga national park: After breakfast on day 5 of 10 days best of Congo safari tour, check out of the lodge and be driven to Bukavu port for a boat ride transfer from Bukavu to Goma port. While on the boat ride, you will be rewarded with a cool breath, stunning views of fauna and flora species along the shores of Lake Kivu, a view of Mount Nyiragongo and many more. Upon arrival in Goma, you will head to the lodge for lunch then be transferred to the park headquarters to obtain gorilla trekking permit, chimpanzee trekking permit and mount Nyiragongo hiking permit and finally join the convoy for a transfer to your lodge in Virunga national park for check in, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: 1st Mountain gorilla trekking in Virunga national park
1st mountain gorilla trekking in virunga national park: After breakfast on day 6 of 10 days best of Congo safari tour, you will be driven to the park headquarters for briefing. Why on briefing grounds, you will find there porters for hire at a cheaper cost. Hire one or even 2 depending on your luggage then be led into the forest to start the 1st gorilla trekking in Virunga national park where you will be able to land on other wildlife species that live in the same forest with these endangered mountain gorillas. Spend one hour with the gorillas in their natural habitat then exit the forest and return to Bukima where your safari driver will pick you and return you to the lodge.

Day 7: 2nd Gorilla trekking in virunga national park
2nd gorilla trekking in Virunga national park: Wake fully energized on day 7 of 10 days best of Congo safari tour, have your breakfast and return to Bukima police post to attend a briefing for the 2nd gorilla trek in virunga national park where you will be in position to request for a different gorilla family for trekking. Enter into the forest once again to search for the gorilla family for about 2-7 hours depending on how far the gorilla family has moved, the trekking speed in favor of the slowest trekker in the group of 8 persons, and the nature of the terrains among others. Upon finding the gorilla family, you will spend one hour with gorilla talking photographs and viewing them closely at a distance of 7M apart and finally exit the forest to return to your lodge.

Day 8: Chimpanzee Trekking in Virunga national park
Chimpanzee trekking in virunga national park: After breakfast on day 8 of 10 days best of Congo safari tour, pack some snacks and drinking water then wear your suitable trekking gear and join other trekkers for briefing before setting off on a an adventure to trek chimpanzees in Mahura forest. Once you find the chimpanzees, you will have one hour with then and later on be led out of the forest to return to your lodge for a relaxed evening.

Day 9: Mount Nyiragongo Volcano Hike in Virunga national park
Hike mount Nyiragongo (ascend): On day 9 of 10 days best of Congo safari tour, you will wake up early for breakfast, pack some lunch, water and other requirements that you may need during Nyiragongo hike then check out of the lodge and be transferred to Kibati ranger post for briefing. After briefing, you will set off on a walk to hike up the top of Mount Nyiragongo where you will spend the entire night viewing the Lava Lake that is the major tourist attraction at the summit of Mount Nyiragongo that makes it the most hiked volcano in Virunga national park and Virunga Massif at large.

Day 10: Descend Mount Nyiragongo and transfer to Kigali for departures
