3 Days congo gorilla trekking
Day 1: Transfer to Gisenyi/Goma
Upon arrival at Kigali airport/Depending on your location in Kigali, you will be met by our company representative/driver guide for your 4 hours’ drive to Congo with en route lunch. Cross to Goma and connect to your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at Bukima tented camp for budget/Mikeno lodge for luxury
Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Virunga National park .
wake up in the Virunga National park, With the guidance of the park rangers, connect to Bukima, park headquarters where you will gather with other tourists for briefing about the mountain gorillas, the gorilla trekking in congo and the park at large. With your packed food, depart to enter the park to start the search of the mountain gorillas, this can take 3-7 hours depending on the location of the gorillas and security. After finding and viewing gorillas for 1 hour, descend and drive back to meet your driver. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Bukima tented camp for budget/Mikeno lodge for luxury as above
Day 3: Drive back to Kigali
After breakfast at your lodge, cross back to Rwanda, depending on your departure flight, en route visit Lake Kivu and explore some of the exciting areas in Gisenyi before you proceed to Kigali with en route lunch. You will either be dropped off at your hotel in Kigali or proceed to Kigali airport for your onward flight to your next destination.
