Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Hotel
Upon arrival Entebbe International airport, you will be welcomed by your driver and transfer to your booked hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Best western Garden Hotel for mid-range/Horizon Hotel for budget/Entebbe Protea Hotel for luxury
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
Depending on your location in Kampala, you will be welcomed by our company representative/guide who will then transfer to Bwindi national park. The park is located in the south western part of the country, it’s a 7 hours drive with en routes. Via Masaka road, you will have a stopover at the equator where you will be able to take photographs and visit the craft shop, proceed with lunch en route. On arrival to the park in Kisoro district, you will proceed and check in your lodge for relaxation. Day 3: Gorilla Trekking experience.
Have breakfast and transfer you to park offices for briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by a local guide. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at very close range. You will observe adults feeding and groaning among themselves. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge for a restful evening.
Those will stay back at the lodge will go for a community walk to the community around the park (this activity is optional to do so it’s not included in the tour price below). Have dinner and overnight stay as lodge above
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and Ishasha game drive
After having breakfast early morning, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park-a home to the tree climbing lions. This is a 4 to 5 hours journey with stopover lunch via Ishasha sector. Arrive in the park in the early afternoon and have lunch in Ishasha where you will also enjoy a game drive in the area finding the tree climbing lions and other available animals. Thereafter drive to your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at Elephant Hub Lodg for mid-range/Elephant Plains Lodge for luxury/Kazinga Wilderness camp for budget
Day 4: Game Drive in Kasenyi area and Boat cruise on Kazinga channel
Go for an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park where you will spot a lot of wildlife including African elephants, Lions, buffalos, antelopes, impala, among others and a lot of birds and a good day the leopards. Return to the lodge for breakfast, relax a bit and enjoy your lunch.
Connect for a boat cruise along Kazinga channel where you will get an opportunity to see a number of bird species, elephants and buffaloes, hippos and crocodiles. The kazinga channel is known to have the highest concentration of hippos. Retreat from the boat trip in the evening and check in your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay as at lodge as above
Day 5: Transfer to back to Entebbe
Wake up and enjoy your breakfast. Meet your driver to drive back to Kampala. It’s about 6-7 hours’ drive with en-route lunch in Mbarara town and Equator. Arrive in Entebbe, dinner and overnight stay at Best western Garden Hotel for mid-range/Horizon Hotel for budget/Entebbe Protea Hotel for luxury
Day 6: Flight to Zanzibar (Own Booking)
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your guide will drive you to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar Island. You will be picked up from the airport in Zanzibar on arrival and driven to your hotel for check in. You will spend the rest of the day relaxing at the beach. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7: Stone Town, Prison Island and Spice Tour
You will also take a private boat from Stone town to Changuu Island or Prison Island where you will enjoy seeing the Giant tortoises and during your tour of the island you will also enjoy snorkeling. You will take a boat back from Changuu Island back to Stone town. On this day you will also engage in a spice tour as you explore the plantations where you will see different exotic spices and also get to know the uses of the spices like cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg among others. After the spice tour, you will return to your hotel for dinner and to spend the night as above.
Day 8: Safari blue experience
You will enjoy the best boat tour on the island is which is a truly amazing experience sailing in the beautiful traditional Dhows. You will enjoy a boat ride, enjoy delicious buffet and drinks, fresh tropical fruits and snacks, snorkeling and also visit Menai Bay. After the experience, you will be driven back to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 9, 10, 11: Zanzibar Beach Experience

Your breakfast will be served at your hotel in Zanzibar as you prepare for your drive to the airport, which will bring your 12 Days Uganda and Zanzibar Safari to an end.
