15 Days Kenya Safari is a long 2 weeks safaris that will a tourist traverse the vast lands of Kenya’s Samburu national park, Lake Nakuru national park, Naivasha national park, Maasai Mara National Park, and Tsavo national park.

15 Days Kenya Safari

Day 1: Arrival and transfer top Hotel

On day one of the 15 Days Kenya Safari Following your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international airport, meet your guide to drive you to your Hotel in Nairobi, depending on your arrival time, you may take a city tour and visit David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Center or Karen Blixen Museum Tour. It’s a half-day tour. Dinner and overnight stay at Hilton Garden Hotel

Day 2; Transfer to Samburu national park

After breakfast, meet your guide and start your journey to Samburu national park located in the rift valley province, en-route visit the Equator and views of Mount Kenya. Arrive in Samburu national park at a good time for lunch at your lodge after check-in. Later afternoon, connect for a game drive and be able to spot some of Samburu’s common game like the buffaloes, leopards, lions, cheetahs, Grevy’s zebras, Beisa Oryx, giraffes, and other plain game. Before nightfall, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa lodge for Luxury/Samburu Simba lodge for mid-range

Day 3: Full day Samburu game reserve

After your breakfast on day 3 of this amazing 15 Days Kenya Safari, explore the park in depth while on game drives to find the park’s habitats. Game drives are commonly done along the dry and scenic banks of the Ewaso Nyiro River. This is where most animals will be found, some drinking from the water banks while others inside the river including the hippos and crocodiles. Return to your lodge to rest. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above

Day 4: Transfer to Lake Nakuru national park

After breakfast on day 4 of the 15 Days Kenya Safari, enjoy an en-route game drive as you drive out of the park to connect to Lake Nakuru national park, continue your journey via Nyahururu waterfalls and en-route lunch on the base of Mount Kenya. Enter the park in the afternoon and enjoy en-route game drive. Lake Nakuru is best known for its large masses of flamingo birds and home to the famous black and white rhinos. Check-in your lodge to rest. Dinner and overnight stay at Nakuru Lodge for mid-range/

Day 5: Full day Nakuru national park

Wake up early, enjoy breakfast and connect for an early morning game drive to explore more of the park’s beauty. During the game drive spot animals like the lions, leopards, hyenas and different antelope species. Later afternoon drive to Lake Nakuru and enjoy the views of huge numbers of flamingo birds on the lake shores and other bird species. In addition to the birdlife of the park, explore the park’s wildlife spotting animals like the black and white rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, and zebras. Before nightfall return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Nakuru lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Naivasha national park

After breakfast at the lodge on day 6 of the 15 Days Kenya Safari, transfer to Naivasha national park with an en-route game drive as you drive out of Nakuru. Arrive Naivasha at good time for lunch, check-in, enjoy your lunch then drive out to explore the park. Visit the lake and possibly do a boat ride for birds and animals like the hippos. Later in the evening, do an evening game drive before you return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Sopa lodge

Day 7: Transfer to Masai Mara

After breakfast, connect for a guided nature walk at the crescent island and also visit the Hell’s Gate gorge. Thereafter, embark on your journey to Masai Mara national reserve which is along the floor of the magnificent rift valley for an unlimited game drive and the land of the Masai people, en-route lunch and Masai community. Proceed to your lodge for check-in. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Simba lodge/Masai Sopa lodge 

Day 8: Masai Mara full day 

After breakfast, full day in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents, The Masai Mara plains are full of wildebeest during migration season early July to end September, zebra, impala, topi, giraffe, Thomson’s gazelle are regularly seen, leopards, lions, hyenas, cheetah, jackal and bat-eared foxes. Black rhino are a little shy and hard to spot but are often seen at a distance if you are lucky. Hippos are abundant in the Mara River as are very large Nile crocodiles, which lay in wait for a meal as the wildebeest cross on their annual quest to find new pastures. Later Meals and overnight at lodge as above

Day 9: Transfer to Amboseli national park

On this very first day of your 9 Days of your Kenya Safari, you will be met by your guide after breakfast to drive to Amboseli national park. It’s a 6-7 hours’ drive via Nairobi for lunch. Amboseli national park is famous for its scenery with a close view of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape, and open plains. 

Arrive in the late afternoon with more game drive as you drive to your lodge. Animals like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro may be spotted. Later Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Amboseli lodge 

Day 10; Full day Amboseli national park

Have breakfast and explore Amboseli. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Another attraction of the park includes opportunities to meet the Maasai people and also offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Dinner and overnight stay at Sentrim Amboseli Lodge

Day 11: Transfer to Tsavo West national park 

Breakfast will be served very early and proceed to Tsavo national park arriving in the morning for an en-route game drive to visit the rhino sanctuary and visit the Chyulu hills, an elevated point to see Mount Kilimanjaro and other scenic valleys. Have lunch then later afternoon also visit Mzima springs a living oasis inhabited with exotic fish, crocodiles, and hippos with lunch. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Ngulia Safari lodge

Day 12: Morning game drive in Tsavo East and late transfer to Mombasa

Be up before sunrise to connect for a game drive in Tsavo East which is famous for its red-colored elephants. Expect to spot the 5 game and other animals like the giraffes, cheetahs, ostriches and a myriad of other animals.  After the game drive, you will embark on your journey to Mambasa. Arrive in the evening and connect to your hotel, dinner and overnight stay at Diani Sea Resort.

Day 13; Relaxing at the Beach

This morning on day 13 of this long 15 days Kenya Safari, you will enjoy breakfast and enjoy your beach. Here you will just relax and chill at leisure. All meals at Dian Beach resort.

Day 14: Another day in Mombasa.

The day will be spent at leisure

Day 15: Transfer to Nairobi and departure

Wake up early, have breakfast and set off for Nairobi. It’s a 6-7 hours’ drive with en-route lunch. Arrive in Nairobi and connect to your hotel or be dropped off at the airport of your onward flight back home. End of 15 Days Kenya Safari.
