Day 1-Arrival in Entebbe.
Upon arrival for your 10 Days luxury Uganda safari, you will be met by an Achieve Global Safaris representative and transfer to your lodge for the night.

Day 2; Entebbe – Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast set off on your adventure exploring the beautiful country of Uganda. Your drive southwards brings you to the relaxing Lake Mburo National Park.
Lake Mburo is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks and underlain by ancient Precambrian metamorphic rocks which date back more than 500 million years. It is home to 350 bird species as well as zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, Oribi, Deffassa, waterbuck, leopard, hippos, hyena, topi and reedbuck.
You will arrive in the park and head for an evening game drive and after that check in at Mihingo Lodge for the night. Mihingo Lodge is situated on a series of rock out crops on the boundary of the park with views of Lake Opeta. Each of the accommodations is very private and beautifully sited. The lodge has a gorgeous infinity pool where the dining room overlooks a man-made waterhole that draws in game to include on occasions Eland antelope.

Day 3- Lake Mburo National Park
You have a full day to explore Lake Mburo National Park. A variety of activities are on offer including game drives to see the variety of grazers in this area ,horseback safaris, walking safaris, boat trips on the lake or alternatively a relaxing massage back at the lodge

Day 4 – Lake Mburo National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Early morning game drives prior to transferring to the renowned Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest which is Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests dates back over 25,000 years and contains almost 400 species of plants. More famously, this “impenetrable forest” also protects an estimated 320 mountain gorillas- roughly half of the world’s population, including several habituated groups, which can be tracked.
This biologically diverse region also provides shelter to a further 120 mammals, including several primate species such as baboons and chimpanzees, as well as elephants and antelopes. There are around 350 species of birds hosted in this forest, including 23 Albertine Rift endemics.
On arrival, you will check into the lodge and later in the afternoon take a Stroll around the town to visit the craft shop and meet the local.

Days 5 – Gorilla Tracking-Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Certainly one of the most exciting day of your 10 days luxury Uganda safari; today you will be gorilla tracking in Bwindi. Breakfast will be served early and lunch will be packed. The briefing is at 8 am. Your guide will give you highlights of specific details about the way of life of the gorillas you will be tracking.
The time taken to track the gorillas varies enormously, from as little as half an hour to as much as 9 hours before one returns to camp. Once the gorillas are located, our group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. This is one of the world’s truly memorable experiences ; a look into one of these magnificent creatures’ eyes brings home the bond that exists between them and us. Return to the lodge to relax and reflect back on the days’ activities.

Day 6 – Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Ishasha Sector
After breakfast depart Bwindi for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Queen Elizabeth is Uganda’s second largest park, located at the base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain range, adjacent to Lake Edward and Lake George. The park has prolific game, including gazelle, Uganda kob, warthog and waterbuck. Lions are often sighted both in and at the entrance to the park. Be prepared for huge numbers of hippo and elephant, and keep your eyes peeled for a leopard lazing in the sunshine.
You will drive through the towns of Butogota,Kanyantorogo and Kihihi to finally make your way to Ishasha sector of the park which is a home of famous tree climbing lions. This is the only other place in the entire world where you will find tree climbing lions besides Lake Manyara National Park in Tanzania. Conduct a game drive and waste the rest of the evening at the lodge as you watch animals at the river bank.

Day 7 – Ishasha Sector – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Morning game drives on your way out of Ishasha making your way northwards to the Kasenyi plains area of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Game drives along the way arriving at Kyambura Gorge Lodge in time for a relaxing lunch. Relax for a few hours and later head for the beautiful boat cruise on Kazinga Channel on this 10 days luxury Uganda safari.
You will see a lot of hippos as well as a variety of other animals which come to the waterhole to drink or bathe. You can expect to see buffalo, crocodile, bathing elephant, and a range of beautiful birds. After the boat-safari you conduct a brief game drive back to the lodge. The Kasenyi plains area of the park is one of the best game viewing areas with some large herds of Ugandan kob which form the main prey base for the resident lion population.

Day 8 – Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kibale Forest
Conduct a morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector before exiting the park. The Kasenyi plains area of the park is one of the best game viewing areas with some large herds of Ugandan kob which form the main prey base for the resident lion population.After the game drive you will drive northwards making your way to the town of Fort Portal and the gallery forest of Kibale. Along the way on clear days you have a chance of spotting the dramatic Rwenzori Mountains also known as the Mountains of the Moon.
Kibale Forest Park bares homage to a total of 70 mammal species, most famously 13 species of primate including the Chimpanzees and also contains over375 species of birds. Depending on your time of arrival at Ndali Lodge optional activities would include a guided tour of the Crater Lake with the resident guide, you may enjoy a game of croquette on the lawn or simply laze by the pool to relax on this 10 days luxury Uganda safari.

Day 9 – Kibale Forest
This 766-square-kilometer tropical rain forest is the natural habitat for an amazing 12 primate species, and contains the highest primate density of an area on Earth. Here, on a guided forest walk, you may find families of Chimpanzees and Red Colobus Monkeys chattering and swinging through the ancient forest trees. Some of the trees are 50 to 60 meters (150 to 180 feet) in height, and provide a majestic canopy for the profusion of rain forest life, including 325 bird species.
Even though you may only rarely see them, the park is home to the largest population of Forest Elephant in Uganda, and is also home to Buffalo, Uganda Kob, Genet, Civet, Waterbuck and Bushbuck. This morning we track chimpanzees through this fascinating forest, following the well-marked trails. After lunch we visit a nearby forest swamp that is excellent for viewing more primates and other forest animals and that’s all for your 9th day of your 10 days luxury Uganda safari.

Day 10 – Kibale Forest – Entebbe
After breakfast, you will transfer back to Entebbe, the journey lasts for some 4-5 hours and you will arrive in Entebbe in time for your international flight back home depending on your flight departure time and that marks the end of your 10 days luxury Uganda safari.
