Day 1- Arrive – Entebbe
On arrival for your luxury Uganda safari, we will meet you at Entebbe International Airport and will transfer you to Protea Hotel your accommodation for tonight.

Day 2- Entebbe – Kidepo National Park
We will transfer to the airport this morning you catch your onward internal flight to Kidepo. Your flight departs at 1245hrs with your expected arrival at 1445hrs You will be picked from the airstrip and dropped to Apoka lodge. At your lodge, you will check in, relax and have lunch.
In the evening you will take a sunset game drive through Kidepo Valley National park and see wild life diversity at its best. Kidepo Valley N.P. has about 77 mammal species as well as around 475 bird species making it an African enthusiast’s dream destination.

Day 3 – Kidepo National Park
Spend a full day exploring this beautiful park on morning and afternoon game drives on your luxury Uganda safari. An oasis in the middle of a vast inhospitable region, Kidepo has a vast array of game to offer. We will start with a 2-3 hours morning game drive in search for lions, cheetahs and leopards. The park also contains two rivers – Kidepo and Narus – which disappear in the dry season, leaving just pools for the wildlife. Both sights are equally breathtaking and it will not take away from your experience if you miss out on seeing one.
Return to the lodge for late breakfast, Enjoy mid-morning at the open swimming pool with sighting of wildlife from the lodge. The lodge offers nice viewing platform for wildlife and often at night you will hear the lions roar and the hyena cries. Relax at Apoka Lodge, lunch and we arrange for an evening parked Game drive.

Day 4- Kidepo National Park
A more leisurely pace today as you enjoy a guided nature walk through the park in the morning. In the afternoon you will visit the nearby village. The local communities around the park include pastoral Karamojong people, similar to the Maasai of Kenya, and the IK, a hunter-gatherer tribe whose survival is threatened. Kidepo National Park is home to one the smallest ethnic groups in Africa, a people called the Ik. According to folklore, the Ik have wandered through much of East Africa, and came from Ethiopia hundreds of years ago.
Terrill Schrock is a linguist working with three generations of Ik to uncover the secrets of the Ik language. He’s found evidence linking them to cultures as far away as southern Egypt. “It’s like a museum,” he says. “It’s a storehouse of historical information, cultural information, and ecological information. When a language like that dies, you could liken it to a library burning down“. You will also observe the way of life of the Karamojong and the Ik.

Day 5- Kidepo National Park – Entebbe
One final game drive this morning of your luxury Uganda safari as you set off in the direction of the hot springs where you can sit and enjoy views out towards the mountains and the Sudanese border. Returning to the lodge for lunch you then transfer to the airstrip in time for your return flight back to Entebbe Our driver will pick up and take you to freshen up at Protea Hotel to freshen up .Later on, transfer to the international airport for your departure flight home marking the end of this 5 days Luxury Uganda safari.
