Day 1- Arrival in Entebbe,Uganda
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport you will be met by an Achieve Global Safaris representative who will transfer you by road to The Boma Guest House.
The Boma is located 10 minutes from Entebbe Airport. It is a combination of modern comforts and charm of character from the 1940’s. All rooms are individually decorated in a mixture of African and European décor and reflect the colonial architecture. Facilities available include bar and restaurant, swimming pool, beach area and Internet. The Boma is a long-standing favourite stopover of many visitors to Uganda and a great place to unwind as you begin your Uganda Rwanda Gorilla safari.

Day 2: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Canoe Excursion and Batwa Visit.
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your scheduled charter flight to Kisoro. You will be picked by our driver who will drop you off at the Southern shores of Lake Mutanda where you will find the canoe team waiting. You will embark in the canoes to transverse the lake in 2 and half hours ride. You will find the driver waiting on the northern shores to transfer to Clouds Lodge. Have lunch and later head for walk into the Buniga forest where you will encounter the Batwa and learn about their customs.

Day 3- Gorilla Tracking-Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today is the big day; prepare yourself for an encounter with one of Bwindi’s gentle giants: the rare mountain gorilla. For most people, this is the absolute highlight of their tour in . En route to the gorillas, your guide will point out signs of previous gorilla activity, including dung, nests and chewed bamboo shoots.
The time taken to track the gorillas can be as few as 2 hours to as many as 7 hours. Your track will be an exciting journey along forested slopes, entwined vines, bushes and bamboo before you eventually reach the gorilla family. Once the gorillas have been located, your group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. Coming face-to-face with a mountain gorilla is a truly humbling and emotional experience.
This is a fantastic and privileged opportunity to get up close and personal with Uganda’s very own ‘Gorillas in the Mist’.

Day 4- Bwindi- Parc des Volcans
After breakfast depart Uganda via Cyanika Border to transfer to Parc des Volcans Approximately 3 hours’ drive. The rainforests of the Virunga Volcanoes are the last refuge of the Mountain Gorilla. The Virungas span Rwanda, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, with the Parc National des Volcans being the Rwandan element of this ecosystem.
The lush slopes of the volcanoes provide an appropriately dramatic natural setting for what is perhaps the most poignant and thrilling wildlife experience to be had anywhere ;to see the Mountain Gorilla in its natural habitat. Seven habituated families of gorillas are visited, and these families have from seven to over thirty-five individuals in each group.En-route, you will visit two scenic lakes usually referred to as the twin lakes; Lake Bulera and Lake Ruhondo.
They are fed by rivers and a lake in Uganda. The twin lakes area is very scenic, with steep and intensively farmed hills surrounding the pristine dark blue waters. They offer magnificent views over the whole of the Virunga Volcanoes (weather permitting).

Day 5- Gorilla Tracking-Parc des Volcans
Report for gorilla trekking in Rwanda at the park headquarters .As with Bwindi, the time taken to track the gorillas varies enormously, from as little as half an hour to as much as 9 hours before one returns to base. Once the gorillas are located, our group will be allowed a maximum of one hour with them. Tracking the mountain gorillas of Rwanda has to be one of the most rewarding wildlife experiences in the world today; coming face to face with a 175kg silverback gorilla is an experience that will remain with you forever.

Day 6- Kigali and Departure
After a sumptuous breakfast, you will be transferred by road back to Kigali Airport for your outbound flight. Time permitting; pay a visit to the genocide memorials in Kigali and transfer to the airport for your onward flight marking the end o your combined Uganda Rwanda Gorilla safari.
