Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Tarangire national park – half day game drive
Depending on your location in Arusha, you will be met by your safari driver to transfer to Tarangire national park which begins your wildlife viewing experiences in Tanzania. Upon arrival at the park, connect to the park with for game viewing. During your game drive, you will see different wildlife species grazing and roaming in the national park such as lions, giraffes, antelopes, giraffes, lions, leopards, buffalos, wildebeests, elands, elephants, cheetahs, impalas and a variety of bird species can also be seen especially around the Tarangire national park. As you enjoy the sunset and scenery around you, your guide will drive you to your lodge for check-in for relaxation, dinner and overnight at Karatu Tented Lodge for mid-range/Elileens Tree Lodge for budget
Day 2: Game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater – transfer to Serengeti national park
After breakfast, and connect to Ngorongoro crater with your parked lunch for a morning drive down into the crater 600m down crater. It’s much famous as one of the biggest volcanic calderas in the world; it occupies over 1 million animals with all the big five including the rare black rhino present. Other animals include Lions, leopards, cheetahs, Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffes, zebras and others.
After the game drive and your lunch boxes and drive through the park with en route game drive with Ngorongoro conservation for chances of seeing more of the animals. Visit the remarkable stop at the gorge Olduvia Gorge – one of the historical sites in the world where Dr Leaky discovered the remains of the early man, the museum is worth a visit and get to know much about our ancestral life style in Ngorongoro conservation area. Day 3: Full day game drive in Serengeti national park
Have early breakfast, get parked lunch and go for a full day game drive we start from far North around the Mara river in case you came on the opposite month when the migration will start from Serengeti after missing it from Mara Kenya side now this will be you turn to enjoy the best. Spend the whole day looking for these animals like Hippos, Elephants, Buffalos, Giraffes, Lions, Hyenas, Cheetahs, Antelopes, Hartebeest, zebras mention but a few. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at lodge above

Day 4: Another day Serengeti national park
On the 4th day of your 15 Days Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda Safari, You will have breakfast and go for yet another morning game drive in the savannah plains of Serengeti national park to see various wildlife species that are very active in the morning and can easily be spotted as you also enjoy the sunrise. Your lunch will be served at your lodge after your morning game drive. Later in the evening, you will engage in another game drive to see wildlife species such as the big five like lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos, and elephants. You will also see other wildlife and bird species which include wildebeest, waterbucks, antelopes, zebras, kudus, hippos, buffalos among others. You will return to your lodge after your evening game drive for dinner and overnight at lodge as above
Day 5: Transfer to Masai Mara national reserve via Isabenia border
You will have a very early breakfast and check-out from the lodge to embark on your journey to Masai Mara national reserve in Kenya with en-en-route game drive as you proceed to Isebania border where you will be crossing to Kenya. Upon arrival at the border the customs office will do clearance after which, meet your Kenyan driver guide to proceed to Masai Mara where you will enter the park. Connect to Masai Mara Park via Olololo gate in Mara west, proceed to your lodge for check-in, relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Miti Mingi Eco-Camp for budget option/AA Lodges for mid-range option
Day 6: Full day game drive in Maasai Mara
Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and grab your packed lunch and meet your safari driver to head to the plains of Maasai Mara for a full day adventure in this stunning savannah vegetation of Masai Mara as you watch many animals in large numbers such as lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeests, zebras and many more. You will enjoy your picnic lunch and proceed for a game drive till the sun goes down. In the evening you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight at lodge as above
Day 7: Another day – Full day in Masai Mara – community tour
On 7th day of 15 Days Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda Safari, After breakfast, you will head to the plains of the reserve for the final morning game drive sighting more animals, after the game drive you will head back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will head to the Maasai village/Masai Loita Hills for a cultural experience. On this experience you will enjoy getting a deeper insight into the Maasai culture by interacting with the local Maasai people, be entertained by local dancers, drama and Maasai warriors; buy local Maasai items such as local Maasai Shukas, beautifully made accessories such as necklaces and earrings and taste local cuisines. After the experience, you will head back to your lodge, have dinner and stay overnight at lodge as above
Optional activity; Hot air balloon – Wake early and be picked up by the air balloon team for your hot air balloon safari which starts in the early morning, just in time for sunrise. For about one hour you will be floating peacefully above the ground, with a bird’s eye view of the African bush below. The capacity for this activity is limited making this a very special and exclusive experience. Breakfast will be provided and thereafter connect back to the lodge.
Day 8: Masai mara – Fly to Entebbe – Kampala
Have breakfast, check-out of the lodge and connect for your flight to Entebbe airport, departing Masai Mara at 8:45 am and arrive in Entebbe 11:45 am. Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will meet our company representative/guide who will be waiting to receive you and transfer you to Kampala city which is 37km away. You will be transferred to your hotel to check-in. In the evening dinner will be served and spend a comfortable night at Forest cottages for budget/Fairway Hotel for mid-range/Sheraton hotel for luxury – full board or while in Entebbe, dinner and overnight stay at Papyrus Guesthouse for budget/Best western Garden Hotel for mid-range
Day 9: Drive to Kibale national park (5-6 hours) – Bigodi swamp
On the 9th day of your 15 Days Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda Safari, After breakfast at your hotel, set off to transfer to Kibale forest national park in the western part of Uganda with stopovers to stretch and lunch depending on your location and time. Connect to your lodge with en-route visit of the crater lakes near the park. Explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. The reserve is abundant with butterflies, plants, animals, in particular, birds and primates. Spectacular birds like Great Blue Turaco and rare Papyrus Gonolek will be of great interest to birders. The swamp is also home to more elusive animals such as Red Colobus monkeys and Sitatunga antelope. There is also the opportunity to visit local community projects that have been financed by tourism. Day 10: Chimpanzee Trekking activity – transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
On the 10th day of your 15 Days Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda Safari, After breakfast, drive to Kibale park head offices for briefing about the chimpanzees. Enter the forest and start trek the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, its take 2-5 hours to find them and on finding them, you are allowed 1 hour to be in their process as they swing from the branches in the canopy high above the forest floor.
After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park to reduce your distance for the next day transfer. It’s a 3 hours’ drive from Kibale national park to Queen Elizabeth national park. Dinner and overnight at Buffalo Safari lodge for mid-range/Pumba Safari Cottages for budget
Day 11: Morning game drive – boat cruise in Kazinga channel
On the 11th day of your 15 Days Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda Safari, After your breakfast, you will set off to an early morning game drive where you will encounter other animals like buffaloes, elephants, waterbuck, Uganda Kob, and other types of antelopes. Then go back for lunch.
Afternoon, go for a 3 hours launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel into Lake Edward, this cruise will let you pass through a place of the highest concentration of hippos and you may also see many animals drinking at the water’s edge. The cruise also offers a good platform for photography, bird watching, and games. Dinner and overnight stay at as above
Day 12: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable national park (6 hours)
After breakfast, meet your driver to depart for Bwindi. Drive via the Ishasha sector for changes in seeing the tree-climbing lions. Proceed to Bwindi with en-route lunch. Connect to your lodge in the Buhoma or Ruhija sector of the Bwindi forest. Dinner, and spend a night at Buhoma Community Rest Camp for budget option/Buhoma Haven Lodge for mid-range
Day 13: Gorilla trekking
On the 13th day of your 15 Days Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda Safari, Have breakfast and transfer you to park offices for briefing about Mountain Gorilla trekking by a local guide. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at very close range. You will observe adults feeding and groaning among themselves. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge. Depending on the time you return from the trekking activity, you may do an optional community tour. Have dinner and overnight stay as lodge above
Day 14: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
On the 14th day of your 15 Days Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda Safari, After breakfast, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi which is about 2 hours’ drive and upon arrival, explore Lake Bunyonyi on a canoe ride. This is the place to relax after all the hiking experience. Lake Bunyonyi is the second deepest lake in Africa with about 29 islands such as the punishment island, Bushara, Bwama and Njuyeera islands to mention a few. The lake is surrounded by steep terraced hillsides and best of all, unlike other lakes, Lake Bunyonyi is Bilharzia, hippo and crocodile free with crystal clear waters good for swimming.

After lunch, you can either relax at the lodge or go for Zip-lining at your one cost or do any other interesting activity of your choice. Day 15: Transfer to Entebbe – Departure
After breakfast, check-out of the lodge to embark on your journey to Entebbe/Kampala. It’s a 8-9 hours’ drive with en-route stop for lunch and at the Uganda Equator.
