Buligi game reserve; Buligi game reserve is a home to variety of wildlife species such as elephants, hippos, buffaloes, lions, leopards, bird life among others. However, the reserve has a diversity of eco-system ranging from savannah grassland, woodland, riverine vegetation, forest many more. More so, the Buligi game reserve is part of Uganda’s largest game Murchison Falls conservation area together with Budongo forest reserve and Kaniyo pabidi forest reserve.
In general, Buligi game reserve is located about 160 kilometers between the Victoria Nile and the Albert Nile. Game drive is the best done activity in Buligi game reserve that goes up to 4 hours of spectacular interaction with the unmatched African wilderness. The area of Buligi is also scattered with acacia trees. When in Buligi area you enjoy a panoramic view of the great East African rift valley and the undulating hills, as well as the famous Lake Albert.

Getting to Buligi game reserve. It can be reached from all the gates of Murchison Falls national park, as well as the gate to the southern side of the park respectively. You can drive from Masindi town to Kichumbanyobo gate of Murchison Falls national park, then drive through Budongo tropical forest to paraa and finally access buligi game reserve. We recommend you to use comfortable safari vehicles. You can visit the reserve all year around especially in dry season of June to September and December to February.
