Katonga Wildlife Reserve.

Katonga Wildlife Reserve is located in the western region of Uganda situated along the banks of Katonga River covering a total surface area of about 211 square kilometers. This game reserve was established in 1998 and it is known to be home to several plant species and animals such as; waterbucks, black and white colobus monkeys, olive baboons, Uganda Kob, reedbuck, bushbuck duikers, leopards, duikers, bushbuck among others. Which attracts tourists and it is also surrounded by a unique wetland environment.

Matheniko Wildlife Reserve.

The Matheniko Wildlife Reserve is a conservation area that is located in the Northeastern region of the Karamoja subregion. In addition, this game reserve was officially established in 1964 ranking it among the oldest national parks in the country covering a total surface area of about 1,520 square kilometers.

Ajai Wildlife Reserve. 

Ajai Wildlife Reserve is located in the Northeastern region of Uganda in the Arua district close to the western banks of the Nile dominated by a large island and surrounded by seasonally flooded swamps and wooded savannas established in 1965 famously known for preserving species such as Uganda Kob and it provides a buffer zone for Murchison fall national park.

Karuma Wildlife Reserve.

Karuma Wildlife Reserve is located in the western region of Uganda in the Kiryandongo district elevated on an area of about 902 meters above sea level near Murchison Falls National Park famously known for its spectacular roaring karuma waterfalls, which are found on the Victoria Nile. Karuma Wildlife Reserve is an area of gentle relief, which is crossed over by several watercourses, and it covers a total surface area of about 317 square kilometers.
