Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park and Batwa experience
Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi impenetrable national park: Be ready for pick up on day 1 of 3 days Uganda Gorilla Habituation safari and the batwa experience from Kigali either from a hotel in Kigali or direct from Kigali international airport upon landing. Our company representative will brief you about this 3 days safari as you head to a hotel in Kigali for meal. After enjoying your lunch, proceed your journey to cross into Uganda via cyanika boarder and be driven direct to Rushaga sector of Bwindi impenetrable national park where you will check in your lodge, freshen up and embark on an evening cultural tour to the local batwa communities where you will spend some time with the Batwa who were forest dwellers before being forced out of the forest. While with these batwa, you will learn more about their past life where they resided with gorilla harmoniously the wilderness of Bwindi impenetrable national park. Day 2: Gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi Impenetrable national park
Gorilla habituation experience: Enjoy an early breakfast at your lodge on day 2 of 3 days Uganda Gorilla Habituation Safari from Kigali, pack enough drinking water keeping in mind that you have almost a full day in the wilderness of endangered mountain gorillas. Pack some snacks and a lunch box then wear your best attire including light but water proof hiking boats, long sleeved attire, sun glasses, a cap, garden gloves and pack an insect repellant then be driven for a briefing. During briefing you will be in position to know more about gorilla habituations, the dos and don’ts while in the wild and many more. After briefing, you a group of 4 habituators alongside armed rangers, local guides and researchers as you join hands to search for the unhabituated gorilla family that is still undergoing habituation process that lasts for 2-3 years. During habituation, you will be training the Gorillas how to get used to humans since they are wild animals and will always shy away from human presence so the use of habituation is to train these primates to be free with humans for easy trekking. Habituation starts early in the morning where you and the remaining group will start following up the gorillas right from their nest and follow them slowly by slowly as they move on with their daily activities feeding, playing, copulating and sometimes fighting in case of more than one silverback in a group. When these gorillas finally stop, you will spend 4 hours with these primates training then and getting them used to people and later on trek back to the starting point where you will meet your safari driver to be returned to the lodge for dinner and overnight sleep.

Drive back to Kigali for departures: Enjoy your breakfast at leisure on day 3 of 3 days Uganda Gorilla Habituation safari from Kigali, check out of the lodge and meet your safari driver to exit Bwindi impenetrable national park and drive back to Kigali Rwanda with an enroute lunch. Upon arrival in Kigali, you will embark on a city tour exploring most of the attractions within Kigali city including Genocide memorial sites that were put up in memory of the Rwandese who lost their lives during the 1994 genocide, visit the craft shops, kimironko market and many more. And the finally drop-off location will either be a hotel in Kigali or Kigali international airport for a flight to the next destination.
