Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Ngamba island for Chimpanzee viewing
Visit Ngamba Island: Upon landing at Entebbe international on day 1 of 4 days Bwindi and Ngamba island primate safari, our company representative will be ready to welcome with a paper containing your name and your itinerary. After meeting and greeting, you will then be driven to a hotel in Entebbe where you will check in, enjoy your lunch and freshen up. After relaxing abit from your flight, meet your safari driver for a transfer to the shores of Lake Victoria where you will take a boat ride to Ngamba Island for an afternoon Chimpanzee viewing safari. Ngamba island is situated at the shores of Lake Victoria and one has to take a boat cruise to get their while enjoying the stunning views of the largest lake in African continent shared by 3 countries of Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. Lake Victoria is yet the second fresh water lake in the whole world after Lake Superior in the United States. Well, these chimpanzees are being protected with in a sanctuary and during the chimpanzee viewing, you will be able to closely watch the chimpanzees as they feed, play, groom each other and many more in their natural habitats. You may also engage in feeding these gentle giants. After spending time with the chimpanzees, you will return to the shores of Lake Victoria where you will meet your safari driver and be returned to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Drive to Bwindi impenetrable national park: After breakfast on day 2 of 4 days Bwindi and Ngamba island primate safari, check out of your lodge and meet your safari driver as early as 8:00am to start a long journey drive from Entebbe to Bwindi impenetrable national park a home to the largest remaining population of endangered mountain gorillas and yet the only destination in the whole world where gorilla habituation experience is done. During the long drive, you enjoy a first stopover at the equator for stunning photos between the North and south poles of the Equator. After that enjoy your enroute lunch in Mbarara city and finally drive via farmlands in Ankole region where lots of Ankole cows will be spotted grazing and proceed to view the rolling hills of Kigezi until you get to the park late in the evening for check in, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park: On day 3 of 4 days Bwindi and Ngamba island primate safari, enjoy a heavy breakfast at your lodge, pack enough drinking water, lunchbox and wear the best and suitable gorilla trekking gear that includes water proof hiking shoes, long sleeved attire, a cap, sun glasses and many more that will make your day more colorful then be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing. After briefing, hire a porter or even 2 because the nature of the terrain in Bwindi isn’t very easy thus you may require some support from porters during the difficult terrains then start the adventure of searching for the habituated mountain gorilla family that has been allocated to you and your group of maximum 8 trekkers which is the maximum number of people allowed to trek a particular gorilla family per day. The entire trek in Bwindi impenetrable national park takes about 2-8 hours and only one hour will be allowed for trekkers to closely view the gorilla family, take photographs and finally exit the forest to be returned to the lodge. You may choose to spend your evening at leisure or opt to have an evening batwa experience to engage with the batwa people that were forest dwellers before being evacuated from the habitat of gorillas by the government. These Batwa will be able to introduce you to their life style in the forest where they lived harmoniously with gorillas surviving through hunting and gathering and close your tour with a thrilling entertainment of cultural dance and drama. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer back to Entebbe for departures
Transfer back to Entebbe for departures: Probably you have a night flight on day 4 of 4 days Uganda primate safari. Wake up early for breakfast then check out of the lodge and start the journey from Bwindi impenetrable national park in the wilderness of Kisoro as you return to Entebbe. During the drive, you will enjoy an enroute lunch at Igongo cultural hotel in Mbarara city where you ate the enroute lunch on day 1 of 4 days Bwindi and Ngamba island primate safari. After lunch, proceed with your drive direct to Entebbe where you will be dropped off at Entebbe international airport for a night flight.
