5 Days Jinja and Sipi falls Adventure: This 5 days Jinja and Sipi falls adventure is an incredible safari which starts and ends in Kampala. The safari will take you to Jinja where you will be engage in an interesting boat cruise on the source of the Nile, white water rafting and Jinja city tour where you will visit the King’s Palace, local markets among others. The safari will also take you to Sipi falls in Kapchorwa district where you will hike the three spectacular waterfalls.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1 of the 5 days Jinja and Sipi falls adventure
Arrival and transfer to Kampala, depending on your arrival time at Entebbe international airport on the first day of the 5 days Jinja and Sipi falls adventure, you will be welcomed by our representative who will later brief you about the safari and then transfer to Kampala for lunch. After lunch you will for a city tour where you will visit Kabaka’s Palace where you will learn about Uganda’s history, visit Owino market where they sell food staffs, clothes, electronics among others, visit the craft markets where they sell craft items and souvenirs. After the city tour you will drive to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Transfer to Jinja via Mabira, Sezibwa falls and source of the Nile
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 5 days Jinja and Sipi falls adventure your driver guide will come to pick you up from the lodge to transfer to Jinja. On the way you will have a stopover at Sezibwa falls where you will have great views of the waterfalls, beautiful scenery, bird species among other. From Sezibwa falls you will continue the journey with another stopover in Mabira forest where you will engage in zip lining an adventurous activity which takes about 4 hours or engage in guided forest walk where you will get an opportunity to view primate species like red tailed monkeys, grey cheeked Mangabey, different bird species such as the Great blue turaco, purple throated cuckoo shrike, cassin’s hawk eagle, hornbills, view colorful butterflies, tree species among others.
From Mabira forest you will have en-route lunch and then proceed to Jinja for the evening boat ride on the source of the Nile which takes about 1 to 2 hours. During the boat ride you will have great views of bird species such as the king fisher’s, cormorants, fish eagles, animals like the monitor lizards, crocodiles along the shores, have stunning views of the sundowner among others. After the boat cruise you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: white water rafting and Jinja city tour
White water rafting, after breakfast on the third day of the 5 days Jinja and Sipi falls adventure you will meet up you’re your driver guide and transfer to Itanda falls for an exciting white water rafting activity which is done by use of small paddle rafts filled with air and a trained guide. White water rafting is done according to grades ranging from grade 1 to grade 5 and at the end of each grade the guide will ask you if you want to proceed to the next grade. White water rafting is an adventurous activity that will give you unforgettable memories on your safari, after the white water rafting experience you can engage in other activities like quad biking, bungee jumping, horse riding among others and after drive to the lodge for lunch.
Jinja city tour, after lunch you will go for a city tour where you will visit the kings palace where you will learn about the history of Busoga, visit craft markets where they sell art and craft items among others. After the city tour you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Sipi falls for hiking
After breakfast on the fourth day of the 5 days Uganda Adventure, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kapchorwa district for Sipi falls hiking. Upon arrival you will go for lunch and after drive to the starting point for a briefing where after you will be given a walking stick to support you during hiking. Trekking to each of the 3 waterfalls takes about 3 to 4 hours depending on your physical fitness and each waterfall gives you a different and unique experience. During hiking you will have great views of Mt Elgon slopes, Karamoja plains, Lake Kyoga, small cave for relaxation among others. After sipi falls hiking you will drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Departure to Kampala
On the last day of the 5 days Jinja and Sipi falls adventure you will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer back to Kampala and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of advise.
