15 Days Uganda Safari
15 Days Uganda Safari is an amazing safari that will see you traverse the Pearl of Africa as you experience different bird species, wildlife and primate species.
Day 1: Arrival – Hotel
Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will meet our company representative/guide who will be waiting to receive you and transfer you Kampala city which is 37km away. You will be transferred to your hotel to check-in and rest from the long flight. In the evening dinner will be served and spend a comfortable night at the hotel.

Day 2: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – transfer to Murchison falls National Park
After breakfast, you will be picked up early morning to connect to Ziwa rhino sanctuary for Rhino trekking. It’s a 2-3 hours’ drive from Murchison falls national park. After trekking proceed to the park and enter through Kichumbanyobo gate and proceed to the top of the falls before you proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Heritage Safari lodge for budget/Fort Murchison Lodge for midrange
Day 3: Game drive and launch cruise – Murchison Falls
After morning breakfast, explore the park on a game drive where you will spot various animal species like elephants, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeest, waterbucks, lions, buffaloes, Uganda kobs among others.
In the afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise on the park’s main tourist attraction the unique Murchison Falls as well as the River Nile with its streaming hippo and serried crocodiles along the sandbanks, as well as large numbers of different species getting down to drink & bathe. Dinner and overnight as lodge as above
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Wake up early, have breakfast and then set off to Kibale forest national park with lunch en-route, it’s a full day driving via scenic landscape with en-route lunch. Proceed to Kibale forest to your lodge for check-in, refresh, dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee forest guest house for midrange/Isunga lodge for budget
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking – Kibale national park
Have early morning breakfast and go for briefing and start Chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and with the most varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. This is a place to a number of forest wildlife, most especially 13 species of primate coupled with chimpanzees.
After trekking, you will have lunch and then visit Bigodi wetland where you will experience a lot of birdlife and unspoiled nature. Dinner and overnight at lodge as above.
Day 6: Transfer to Semuliki National Park
You will wake up early in the morning and transfer to Semuliki National Park. Reach the Park headquarters where you will register to enter the park. Proceed to the Hot springs of Sempaya, have lunch.
In the afternoon, connect for a nature walk in the park and spot some of the park’s animals and birds. Drive back to your lodge on a game drive and look out for animals like the antelopes, slender mongoose, several cats, white tailed mongoose, and diminutive genet. Dinner and overnight stay at Ntoroko Safari lodge
Day 7; Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
You will have breakfast and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will arrive well in time for lunch with en-route Crater lakes and caves. Enjoy your lunch and unwind at your lodge or embark on a brief evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Pumba Safari Cottages (budget)/Parkview Safari Lodge (midrange)
Day 8: Game drive and boat cruise – Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will go for early morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector where you may spot various animals like the elephants, Uganda kobs, leopards among others. Return to the lodge for late breakfast, in the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise where you will spot various water animals like Hippos and crocodiles, the cruise will also enrich you with various water birds. Dinner and overnight as above
Day 9: Transfer to Bwindi – Kisoro area
After having your morning breakfast, you will set off for Bwindi impenetrable national park with en-route lunch. Dinner and overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla lodge/Mulehe lodge/Bakiga lodge
Day 10: Gorilla trekking – Bwindi
After early morning breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for briefing and go for gorilla trekking. This could take 4-6 hours depending on the movements of the gorillas. After trekking, meet your driver and transfer to Kisoro town. Dinner and overnight at Mulehe lodge/Ichumbi Gorilla lodge/Bakiga lodge
Day 11: Golden monkeys trekking – Mgahinga National Park & Lake Bunyonyi.
You will have breakfast and head to the park headquarters for golden monkey tracking. Start trekking at 7 am taking about 2-5 hours tracking and on finding them, spend an hour with them before you return to meet your driver.
Have lunch then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Take a boat cruise along Lake Bunyonyi visiting the various islands and interacting with the locals. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi overland resort (budget)/Arcadia lodge (Mid-range)
Day 12: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
You will enjoy your morning breakfast and if you missed the boat, do the canoe then transfer to Lake Mburo national park with a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch and also visit Igongo cultural center and learn about the Ankole culture. Arrive in the evening at your lodge. Dinner and overnight at Eagle’s Nest Lodge (budget) Mpogo lodge (Mid-range)
Day 13: Game drive and afternoon boat
You will go for an early morning game drive; the park is home to herds of Impala, as well as the more uncommon Topi, Eland, and Klipspringer. Burchell’s Zebra and buffalo also graze these areas. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and lunch, and then do a boat cruise in the afternoon where you will see hippos and different bird species. Return to lodge as above
Day 14: Transfer to Kampala – City tour
You will have breakfast then drive out of the park to connect to drive back to Kampala, do a brief Kampala city tour visiting Gadaffi mosque, Bahai temple, with en-route lunch. Dinner and overnight at Best Western Garden Hotel
Day 15: Airport Transfer
You will enjoy breakfast and meet your guide to drive Entebbe airport for your later transfer to the Airport marking the end of your 15 days safari with Achieve Global Safaris.
