Uganda Safaris : park entry fees/activities fees; Uganda park entry fees /activities are fees charged per person per day to any recognized protected national park, reserve and other touristic sites. The park entry fees are fees charged to any visitor who wish to enter the game park to engage in the activities and each activity done in the park is charged differently. Despite the fact that, both park entry fees and activity fees are set up by the government body Uganda Wildlife Authority and currently the new updates of conservations tariff have been released out starting from June 2022 to June 2024. However ,Uganda is blessed to be one of the top visited destination because of the great –unique mountain gorillas meaning few countries worldwide you can encounter these species that is Uganda ,Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo .And among the three countries Uganda hosts world’s half population of mountain gorillas which can be seen on Gorilla trekking activity in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park found in southwestern region of Uganda .More so ,Uganda boosts with bio diversity of wildlife species ,primates like gorillas ,chimpanzees ,golden monkeys and so many ,the unique tree climbing lions ,beautiful nature ,friendly and welcoming people among others.
Generally ,Uganda has ten ‘’10’’ National Parks each game park with its different fabulous attraction ,activities ,charges ,transport duration ,location ,eco system ,climate many more , Such parks include; Murchison Falls National park ,Bwindi Impenetrable National park ,Queen Elizabeth national park ,Kibale National park ,Mount Rwenzori National park ,Kidepo Valley National park ,Mgahinga Gorilla national park ,Kibale Forest National park ,Semuliki National park ,Lake Mburo national park, Mount Elgon national park among others. You can choose to do City Tour ‘’Kampala’’ and participate in visiting the museum, Namugongo martyrs shrine, Baha’i temple, visit Kasubi tombs, tour King’s place, visit Ndere culture center among others, Uganda Safaris.
Please Note; Uganda’s Park activities are paid separately from park entrance fees and charges are based on personnel status, duration of time spends which valid within 24 hours. The fees are charged per person per day within 24 hours.
Uganda’s park rules and regulation are set up by Uganda Wildlife Authority as mentioned below;
Firearms and ammunition are not allowed in the park.
Littering rubbish is not allowed inside the park.
Dogs and other kinds of pets are not allowed in the park.
Driving into the park between 7:00pm and 7:00am is not allowed.
Never attempt to disturb the wildlife by sounding them with horns.
Off driven tracks is not allowed
Campfire is excepting at designed sites
Always be attentive to instruction given by the guide.
There is limited driving send of 40 kilometers
Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison Falls National park is located in northwestern Uganda region ,estimating 4 to 5 hours’ drive from Kampala to main visited destination. The park is a home of bio diversity of wildlife animals with over 76 mammals and paradise of birds 450 bird species recorded and its main tourist attraction is the famous Murchison Falls known as world’s powerful waterfall that has attracted millions of visitors to visit park main to see the falls, Uganda Safaris.

Night game drive
Foreign nonresident is titled to pay USD40, foreign resident pays USD 35and East African members titled to pays UGX40,000 per person per day in 24 hours.

Foreign nonresident is expected to pay USD30, foreign residents is expected to pay USD25 and East African member pays UGX30,000.
Hot Air balloon
Foreign nonresident on full package ‘’with bush breakfast’’ expected to pay USD380 and economy each is charged USD300.
Foreign resident is expected to pay USD250 and East African members is expected to pay UGX250 per person per day.
Sport fishing

Both foreign nonresidents and foreign residents pay USD85 per person per day to enjoy the activity.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park located in southwestern Uganda region approximately 8 to 9 hours’ drive from Entebbe or Kampala to reach the park. Bwindi is a home to half remaining mountain gorillas and other primate’s species and wildlife.

Foreign resident is expected to pay USD350 and East African citizens charged UGX350,000 as park annual fees, Uganda Safaris.
Couple
Foreign resident expected to pay USD600 and East African citizen charged UGX500,000.
Family maximum of four children
Foreign resident expected to pay USD800 and East African citizen pays 600,000 as annual park entrance fees.
Annual corporate fees ‘’10’’people
Foreign resident expected to pay 1,500 and East African citizen pays 2,500,000 as annual park entrance.

East African citizen expected to pay UGX200,000 as annual park entrance fees
Taxi Driver

Tour company driver enters the park on free entry fees.
Rules followed;
They are applied to all protected area for foreign resident and East African citizens only and vehicles are paid separately.
Not valid for packages like Gorilla trekking, chimpanzee tracking, mountaineering, hiking.
Foreign residents require one year working permits in order to qualify for an annual fee.
Safari guide; Is an individual who guides visitors through different activities done in the park.
Tour company drive; Is an individual from a recognized Ugandan tour company who drives a traveler to the National park or any other protected safari destination.
